About Bruges Guides

About Bruges Guides

Only officially trained guides are members of our organization. We know that guiding in a city like Bruges requires more than just a little knowledge. That is why we share our expertise and experience with one another.

Bruges, its surroundings, and its museums are like a tree with countless branches. Every one of our 200 guides knows this tree well. For its branches, we have developed themed walks and tours that explore all aspects of the city and region.

Guiding eight million visitors through a city is no easy task. Bruges Guides aims to contribute to making each visit memorable. With a well-organized, digitalized system, we ensure your guide is ready at the right time and place, prepared for the right tour in the desired language.

Share your wishes with us, and we will find the perfect solution! As the oldest city-guide organization in Bruges, we draw on a tradition that will celebrate its centenary in 2026.
