3. Applicability and order of precedence
These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, bookings, and agreements. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing Bruges Guides. If specific conditions apply to a particular event or specific Service, these take precedence over these Terms and Conditions in the event of any conflict.
4. Offer, information, and prices
We take great care to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate. Obvious mistakes or visible errors are not binding on us. Prices are displayed in euros, including VAT for Consumers and excluding VAT for business customers, unless otherwise stated. Any booking, transaction, or local surcharges will be clearly communicated before the Booking is finalized.
Prices are subject to change until the moment of Booking. Prices will not be changed for Bookings that have already been confirmed, except in the case of a clear typographical or calculation error.
5. Conclusion of the agreement
The agreement is concluded as soon as the Customer completes the online booking process, accepts these GTC, and the payment has been successfully completed, or as soon as we confirm the Booking in writing (by email), stating the date, time, and practical information.
Bruges Guides reserves the right to refuse a Booking or request additional information in the event of suspected fraud, incomplete information, or past non-payment.
6. Payment and invoicing
Payment is made using the payment methods we offer (e.g., Bancontact, credit card, or other online payment methods). Payments are processed by a recognized payment provider using Strong Customer Authentication where required.
For business customers, invoicing can be provided provided that correct invoicing details are supplied. Invoices are payable on the stated due date; in the event of late payment, statutory interest and reasonable fixed collection costs will be payable without prior notice of default.
Tickets will only be activated after receipt of full payment, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
7. Right of withdrawal (Consumers)
For Leisure Services where the agreement specifies a specific date or period of performance (such as guided tours or events at a fixed time), no right of withdrawal applies in accordance with Article VI.53, 12° of the Code of Economic Law and Directive 2011/83/EU. Once confirmed, a Booking for a Service with a fixed date/time cannot, in principle, be canceled free of charge.
For other Services without a fixed date or for additional digital content, the statutory right of withdrawal may apply, provided that the legal conditions are met. In that case, the Consumer may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of the agreement via [email address], stating the order number. Any services already provided or reductions in value may be deducted.
